Oddballs Decals is printed on the ALPS printer on thin film that is silk screen printed. Cut out your decal with a sharp #11 X-Acto Blade. Put the decal in water. Let it soak for around 30 seconds. Put the decal on tissue paper to soak up excess water. Do not let the decal come off the paper while it is in the water or else it tends to bend over itself. Place a pool of water on the model and slide the decal off the paper onto the model and float the decal into the pool of water. When you are satisfied with the position, blot out the excess water with a Q-Tip. Push down with the Q-Tip. This kind of snuggles the decal in place. Use Walthers Solvent decal setting solution, mix with 50% water & 50% solution. This is a safe way as sometimes the stuff is a little strong and will melt or destroy the decal. It’s also a good idea to put some under the decal. Always apply the decal to a glossy surface. Then after the decal has dried, spray the entire model with gloss coat or dull coat to protect the decal. For a current up-to-date catalog, send $8.00 to the address above.
